Even if you dislike it, you cannot deny that the Amazon Kindle series of tablets are the best and highest-selling tablets in the market.It has a user base quite bigger than any other Android tablet, including the Nexus 7. It is a wonder that Google do not hail Amazon’s successes. The Kindle Fire range of tablets are barely recognized as running the Android operating system, because Amazon wants the whole user experience to revolve around the Amazon store and it does this amazingly. Though it may seem like this approach is focused on only making money, I do not feel it is. In this way it is more like and Apple iPad than a native Android device. This new tablet marks a change for the company’s Kindle line, which until now has been defined by relatively simple E-Ink-based devices.
According to Amazon, the Kindle Fire HD has over 22 million movies, TV shows, songs, magazines, books, audiobooks, and apps.

Very nice and thorough review! Currently i am planning to get a tablet device: nexus, kindle fire, or ipad. On the one side the prices of the kindle and the nexus are very appealing, on the other side i see the ipad as the superior product. Kindle is more focussed on media consumption, nexus in versability, ipad is somewhere in between. A big argument pro ipad for me personally is that i own iphone and macbook, so the ipad offers me greater compatibility here. However i am still pretty much undecided. The easiest solution for me would be just to try each one out for a week or so i guess, and then reconsider.
My father did the very same thing, testing out both the Nexus 7 and the iPad, and he went with the Nexus 7. Good luck
